One in three American home renovators want a room built specially for the family pet, according to the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
The AIA's latest Home Design Trends Survey shows architecture firms receiving a major bump in demand from clients for both indoor kennels and au pair/in-law suites as home spaces that can function as separate living quarters
