Is this the future of building? 


AIST, Japan's national institute of advanced industrial science and technology, has developed a prototype humanoid construction robot aimed at replacing heavy-duty human labour.

Created as a response to Japan's labour shortage due to an aging population and declining birthrate, the robot can autonomously carry out various building tasks, such as picking up a plaster board and screwing it onto the wall.
